Mt Kenya Highest Water Body in Africa

On 22 June 2015 four Madswimmers crossed the highest water body in Africa, Lewis Tarn, at 4700 m above sea level on the slopes of Mt Kenya. The swimmers were Jean Craven, Juandre Human, Hardi Wilkins and Megan Harrington-Johnson. The water temperature was 6.5 degrees Celsius. This was a training swim for Madswimmer’s main swim in December on Mt Ojos del Salado in Chile, the highest lake in the world at 6400m above sea level.
